How often should I get my nails done?

Shellac with Protein Base or BIAB lasts up to 3-4 weeks, Gel nails last up to 4 weeks, if it’s left longer than 4 weeks the product can overweigh the nail which can cause breakage or liftings.

BIAB and Shellac provide a layer of product and extra support which strengthens the nail and help them grow longer without breaking.

Can I remove my shellac at home?

Removing your nails by yourself can cause serious damage to the nail plate. By removing your nails yourself you are taking several layers of your natural nail with the product. It is better to get them removed professionally as it is more controlled.

What can I use for dry and cracked cuticles?

Vaseline can be used to moisturise dry and cracked skin around your cuticles. Vaseline is a natural product which lock together to retain moisture and relieve dryness.

What nail shape lasts longer?

Choose the shape of your nail depending on the work load you put your hands through. Square and coffin nails are more prone to breakage due to their straight-edge and sharp corners which can get caught easier and break.

Do my nails need to breathe?
